Entrance Procedures
The entry procedures for the different age groups are as follows:
Nursery (3+) By informal assessment with automatic progression into Junior School.
Reception (4+) By assessment in small groups and interview.
Year 3 (7+) Written papers in English and Mathematics. Reasoning Test and interview.
Year 7 (11+) Written papers in English and Mathematics, through the North London Independent Girls' School Consortium, online test and group interviews.
For a web demonstration of the online test please click here. This will help the applicant understand the procedures involved; the look and feel of the assessments; and the ways of answering questions through the use of keyboard and/or mouse.
Year 12 (16+) Interviews, school report and conditional on GCSE results.
Other age groups (occasional vacancies only):
Years 1-2 (5+ , 6+) By assessment and interview.
Years 4-6 (8+, 9+, 10+) Testing is as for 7+.
Years 8-10 (12+, 13+, 14+) Written papers in English, Mathematics, Science, a Modern Foreign Language and by interview.
