School Fees

Fees include lunch, loan of text books, stationery and certain school trips.

Fees and any other charges due should be paid to the Finance Office by the first day of each term. This can most conveniently be arranged by means of Direct Debit, which avoids the risk of late payment penalties and interest on unpaid amounts. Where fees are not paid on time, an administrative fee of 5% may be added and thereafter monthly interest of up to 1.5% may be charged. As an alternative, fees may be paid monthly by arrangement with a third party provider, further details of which are available from the Finance Office.

One term's notice of the intention to withdraw a pupil must be given in writing and must be received by the Head Mistress before the first day of the pupil's last term. Where such notice is not given one term's fees in lieu will be payable.

Deposits A deposit of half a term's fees should accompany the Acceptance Form when accepting a place at the school. The Acceptance Deposit will be re-paid by means of a credit, without interest, to the final payment of fees or other sums due to the school on leaving. Until credited it will form part of the general funds of the school.

Annual Payment in Advance A 1.5% discount will be allowed where the whole year's fees are paid by 9am on the first day of the Autumn Term. Further details are available from the Finance Office.

A small termly account will remain payable for extras (see below).

Musical instruments (10 lessons):  £190 Per Term               

(Applicable to lessons taught by staff employed by Northwood College only)

Hire of musical instruments - woodwind, brass and other instruments: £35 Per Term                                    

Violins, violas and cellos up to three quarter size: £20 Per Term

Ballet: £79 Per Term

Chess:  £68 Per Term  

Speech and Drama: £50 per term
