Charity Events

The Junior School is proud of the support the girls give to charity events. Each form has two charity monitors and they, together with their Form teachers, help to organise form or year group charity events and are involved in deciding which charities are supported. Recent events have included an Art Exhibition for Children in Need, Dress Down day for Comic Relief and many more.

Not only do these encourage the skills of organisation and co-operation but they also enable the girls to help those less fortunate than themselves. The Junior School often participates in whole school charity fund raising events such as 'Jeans for Genes' day. The girls enjoy meeting charity representatives who come to receive the contributions and who explain about the work of their charity.
