Peace Poster Competition

The 'Peace Poster' is an international competition open to pupils around the world aged between 11 - 13.
Our local Lions Club in Moor Park invited Northwood College, along with other schools in the district, to participate in this event, which we hosted in November.
Pupils were asked to design a poster around the theme 'Children Know Peace'. It was encouraging to see so many Lower School pupils attend the lunchtime Art Club on Thursdays to produce their designs. Mala Pandit's design was chosen to represent Northwood College. She went forward to the District Finals and came second in this round, winning a £75 prize.
Highly commended designs were from the following girls: Serena Mirpuri 90, Lauren Asare 8R, Shanayah Dadral 8C and Maya Gorsia 8C.
