Author Sophie McKenzie to visit Northwood College

17th January 2012

Author Sophie McKenzie will be visiting the school to talk to Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 on Tuesday 28th February.

This very popular author has written a large number of books including the exciting Medusa Project series, 'Girl, Missing' and the sequel 'Sister, Missing'. The final title in the Medusa Project series will be published in the Spring. Girls will be able to purchase a signed copy of one of Sophie's books after the talk (Mrs Annetts will be first in the queue!).

Sophie was born and brought up in London, where she still lives with her teenage son. She has worked as a journalist and a magazine editor, but fell in love with writing after being made redundant and enrolling in a creative writing course.

Have you read her books? The Centenary Library has all the Medusa Project series as well as 'Girl, missing', 'Sister, missing' 'Blood ties' and the sequel 'Blood ransom'; come and have a look!
