Old Girls' Association
As its name suggests, the Old Girls' Association is for former pupils
of Northwood College. It provides a means by which old girls can maintain
contact with each other and keep up-to-date with developments in the
lives of their friends, from career progress to marriages and births!
Old Girls' Day also provides an opportunity for socialising, not just
with former students but also with staff. The Old Girls also challenge
the Staff to a rounders match as well as playing the Mothers at tennis.
OLD GIRLS' NEWS
Reunion Day
Next years Reunion Day will take place on Saturday 21 June 2008. It
will start at 11am and finish around 3pm. Why not come and bring
the whole family to this fun family day! Apart from the usual Tennis,
there will be swimming all day from 11.30 in the College’s
wonderful pool, with a lifeguard on duty. For the children we have
a Bouncy Castle and Mr Marvel as well as Beat the Goalie, with Watford
Football Club and a couple of other surprises. If you prefer a quieter
day then why not meet up with old friends and enjoy the BBQ on the
Terrace and sip Pimms while listening to the College’s very own Jazz
Band.
Join the Association
If you are not already a member of the Old Girls’ Association
then why not email
us your name, address

to Reunion Day and will have access to the Northwood College Extranet. Email

Please take a few minutes to download and complete this new questionnaire.
We are completely updating our database, so even if you completed
a form last year we would encourage you to fill in a new form. For
those of you who have not filled a form in for ages, please can you
spare a few minutes to do so now. We would really appreciate having
up-to-date career and contact information in particular.

I'd like to help
You may already be aware that the Association has been asking old girls
if they would be prepared to give up a small amount of their time
to help current girls with their university and career choices. We
are particularly looking for people who can offer work experience
or work shadowing to a Fifth or Sixth Form girl or who could do mock
interviews with Sixth Formers or tell girls about the job they do
and how they got started. Several old girls have already volunteered,
and a couple of old girls participated in the recent Careers Fair.
If you would like to play netball, hockey or rounders for the Old
Girls, please email Vicky Cawood or Katie
Cawood, Old Girls' Sports
Secretaries.
We're always looking for new Committee Members. If you can spare a
little time and live locally, please do get
in touch.
If you would like any further information about the careers initiatives
being run by the School and the Old Girls’ Association please
