Extra Curricular Activities

Although academic study is obviously the main priority, we have long recognised the importance of the curriculum beyond the classroom. To this end you will find Sixth Form life packed with opportunities to develop your interests and skills. There are many opportunities to become involved in Music, Drama and Sporting activities and there is a vast number of clubs, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and various cultural and religious societies. All girls are encouraged to engage in some form of regular physical exercise, although school sport is not compulsory for Sixth Formers.

Our tutorial programme and Gifted and Talented scheme adds to this enrichment with regular guest speakers who provide further insight into the wider world. In addition, we offer a wide variety of study visits and cultural events, ranging from one-day art and theatre appreciation trips to many types of residential trips.
