In addition to the AS and A2 subjects, all Sixth Formers participate in a programme of Complementary Studies, which are designed to broaden and enrich your studies and to develop a range of skills.
Subjects on Offer
We offer a wide choice of AS and A2 subjects. Girls usually take four subjects at AS level in Year 12 (five for the most able) and continue with three (or four) of those to A2 level in Year 13.
In addition to the AS and A2 subjects, all Sixth Formers participate in a programme of Complementary Studies, which are designed to broaden and enrich your studies and to develop a range of skills. These courses currently include Creative Cooking, Communication, Stagecraft, Photography, Music Technology amongst others, as well as various form of community service. In addition, you will have the opportunity to enhance and extend your ICT skills.
For entry into the Sixth Form, you should gain A*, A, B or C grades in the majority of your GCSE subjects. It is also desirable to have an A* or A grade in the subjects you wish to study at AS or A Level.
