Psychology is the Science of Human Mind and Behaviour.

Psychology aims
to provide students with general knowledge and understanding of the psychological
field, as well as becoming familiar with the main schools of Psychology and
applying theoretical knowledge to everyday situations.

AS Course covers
various topics including the human memory, abnormal behaviour (eating disorders),
the effect of stress on the human body and the reduction of stress, as well
as how psychologists carry out research.

A2 Course expands upon the knowledge
gained from the AS and delves further into human behaviour. Topics include
Sleep and Dreaming, Schizophrenia, Depression and Anxiety Disorders and Pro
and Anti Social behaviour.

AS is 100% examination, A2 – 1 piece of coursework and 2 units examined.
